Get Off the Damn Couch and Get Moving!

So here is some new music to add to your current workout playlist because music is a great motivator...especially when you'd rather be sitting your ass on the couch, in your sweats, eating ketchup chips and Skor bars instead of working out (so not talking about myself...yes, yes I am).

One eskimO

The Band That Is So Damn Good

So I few days ago I was having a music 'who are you listening to now that you love' conversation with a friend of mine (we'll call him 'King') and he mentioned having newly discovered a UK band. The band is not so new but it was new to him.

The band? One eskimO.

I fell in love with this UK band last year when I heard their track 'Kandi' on the Season 5 finale episode of Bones (Booth....le sigh).

So Sunday is Father's Day and I thought what better way to celebrate than with a list of the 'Hottest Dads In Music'...a totally self-serving list I realize but it works for me and I'm OK with it.

So if I left anyone out...feel free to leave your hot dad choices!

DJ Spin and DJ Deedle

Mixing Music With The Best

I often sing the praises of DJs...how they can seamlessly connect layers of music in one constant flow, as they create and maintain the mood and energy of the crowd and listeners they are out to entertain.

Bottom line they have mad skillz and I wish I possessed that talent. But for the record, I did kick some ass at the whole creating a mixed tape thing....I was lightening fast at that record stop, pause technique on my Sharp Dual AM/FM Cassette Player Boombox. Word.
