Preparing The Cabbage For Cabbage Rolls

To prepare your cabbage to be pliable enough to easily make your rolls, put your cabbage in a clean plastic bag, remove as much air as possible, and close with a twist tie. Place your bagged cabbage in the freezer for at least one full day to ensure cabbage is fully frozen. Remove cabbage at least one full day before preparing your rolls, and defrost safely in the fridge. Your leaves will be soft and easy to peel off the head to prepare for rolling up your mixture.
