So, apparently March is the month for vasectomies.

Really. I've heard more about vasectomies in the last few weeks than I have all year. With that said, I've had friends, YMC readers, and Twitter followers ask me about the Songs for A Vasectomy playlist I did two years ago.

To Dallas Smith, country music has always been about the special combination of a voice and a song. After spending nearly 10 years fronting the Canadian rock band, Default, Smith is stepping out on his own, into the world of all things Country.

While in Nashville, Dallas worked with acclaimed songwriter/producer Zac Maloy (Carrie Underwood, James Blunt), Grammy nominated songwriter Rodney Clawson, and Chris Tompkins (Carrie Underwood).

When you think rap pioneers, one of the names that come to mind is Heavy D.

Heavy D passed away yesterday at the age of 44 after bring rushed to a Los Angeles hospital.

The duo “Splash’N Boots” (who hail from Ontario) formed in 2003 when Tess and Nick wrote some children’s tunes for a class project at Queen’s University in Kingston. Since then they have been voted "Canadian Children’s Group of the Year", performed over 700 shows in six different countries, and released five CD’s, and two full-length DVDs.
