When it comes to working out sometimes a playlist full of songs you can't help but move to eliminates the need for excuses...but then again the lure of chocolate and that glass of sangria is a little too strong.
But I digress.
Bottom line means being able to indulge that much more in all things sinfully good. Cough. Cough.
So go forth and work it.
I know it's only May but I may crown this track as my favourite song for Summer 2013. At the very least it's going on every single iPod playlist I create during the next three months.
It's the perfect road-trip-driving-with-no-real-destination-in-mind-with-the-sun-shining-windows-rolled-down-music-turned-up-loud kinda song. I've been hitting the replay button on this song a lot.
'This Is What It Feels Like' (from the album Intense) is by Armin van Buuren and it features Trevor Guthrie (cue former lead singer of the Canadian boy band 'Soul Decision')
Listen and become as equally 'OMG I love this song' as I am.
Why it took me this long to discover this song and this artist I have no idea (album came out in 2011)...
But it's like Amy Winehouse reincarnated...and then some. You'll hear the comparison but it's got more of an old skool, sleazy, sizzling, raw, bluesy, hot oh-so-sexy sound to it. I am a kazillion-times-over envious of her voice.
