Every week we'll find the best eclectic products and services around. Each review is clearly marked, letting you know if we bought it ourselves, simply want it real bad, or were given it for free. With Love it, Want it, Got it!, you'll always know you're getting an honest review.
Here are 5 cool picks we were loving and wanting (and getting!) this week.

"This vacuum was on my "want it" list for years, but it wasn't until we got a pug that I realized it should be on my "need" list. Those dogs shed like no others I've encountered and our house quickly became a snow globe of dog hair. This past Christmas I received one as a gift and I now use it everyday, faithfully. We *literally* breathe more easily. These things should be mandatory for all new pet owners because the power, portability, and stamina are unmatched by any other vacuum I've tried, including our central vac. Plus, mine is hot pink, so yeah, WINNER.

This is as close to wizardry as it gets. You take a big empty sack, shake it in the air a few times and you get a comfortable couch to lie on. Seriously. Maybe I am just seriously lacking in sleep (all the time) but I am loving the thought of having this lounger at my fingertips. I envision using this in my backyard or at the beach. Maybe I'll sign my kids up for soccer just to have an excuse to lie at the sidelines.

You know those days when you wake up and you’re all “It’s so not happening” now there’s a shirt for it. This means you don’t even have to open your mouth to tell your kids you aren’t making school lunches. Just point.

I have scoliosis which means I live with constant back pain. I was given the Acuball to test out by Chiropractor Dr. Michael Cohen, who spent 10 years developing the acuball products to help patients self heal. Unlike a foam roller, this ball is heatable, so all you have to do is find the tight areas on your body (mine is my lower back and glutes) and use your body weight to melt over the ball. I gave it a shot, heated the ball for a minute in the microwave as directed, and spent a half an hour rolling on the ball. It felt amazing. Everytime I turned on Netflix for the next week I did the same thing. The combination of the heat with the strategically placed nubs actually managed to break up knots that have been causing me pain for as long as I can remember. In fact, the results were better from lying on the Acuball than from any professional massage I've had.

I am the queen of the small appliance, it is true, but some small appliances are more life changing than others. This Cuisinart Cool Creations Ice Cream Maker has literally changed my life. Thanks to a friend who introduced me to the wonders of homemade ice cream, I now own this and you will pry it from my ice-cream-cold dead hands. Most commercial ice creams are not made from actual cream but from “modified milk ingredients” and the difference in taste between the two is incredible. I have no fewer than five flavours of homemade ice cream in my freezer at any given time, and as a result my kids think I deserve a crown and a sash. The added bonus is that I can make myself non-dairy ice cream that doesn’t cost a fortune and tastes much, much better than “Vegan Tears,” which is the predominant flavour in most store bought non-dairy ice creams. My family and I can enjoy frozen treats at any time, and I know exactly what’s in them – not to mention it’s ridiculously fun to create my own flavours!
