So on Sunday night, while I was watching the Super Bowl halftime show, it occurred to me that Bruno Mars was a mere six years old when the song "Give It Away," by the RHCP (and holy crap Anthony Kiedis—minus the porn star 'stache looking blazing hawt for 51, yes 51) came out (mind blown). So to lessen the blow of my feeling *&^%$# old, I decided that a flashback to simpler times was in order.
Today is all about indulging in something mindless and fun.
True, the task of picking a list of favourite songs from 2013 is entirely subjective, but this is a music blog and a review of the songs that made up 2013 is pretty much mandatory.

When NKOTB reunited and went on their boy band super tour with the Backstreet Boys, my drive and determination to see that dream fulfilled was reborn. And cue the creation of Mission: Donnie Wahlberg Ass Grab.
I am off to Montreal with my sister, cousins and brother's girlfriend to go see NKOTBSB in concert.
And cue screams of delight.
