I made sure that my first son didn't watch any violent TV shows, like Power Rangers and Ninja Turtles (yea, I did) also never bought him a toy gun or any "shooting" toys. By the time my second came 6 years later, I was more relaxed and he was exposed to some of those things. In the end they are both great kids with no "violence" or aggressiveness issues.

Nap time. I was sure that my baby couldn't have a proper nap if he wasn't at home in his own bed. So I didn't go anywhere, ever, if we couldn't be home for nap time.
