About my kids:
We have survived the sleepless nights, the working mom guilt, and the pressure of “doing it all” while still having toilet paper in the house. We are presently navigating the teen/young adult years, with surprising few battle scars.
Parenting is...:
..something that you really cannot prepare for. We have learned that you cannot overestimate the value of just “being present”.
We know you don't have a lot, but when you do, what do you like to do in your spare time?:
When we are not playing the role of hockey mom or cheer/dance mom, we try to squeeze in a bit of our own exercise. We both seem to be addicted to planning our next family vacation.
When are you at your yummiest?:
We are definitely at our yummiest on family vacations when we have our family with us and all to ourselves! Whether camping (Cindy’s first choice) or on the beach (Jana’s top pick), just being together is what matters the most.

Cindy- Sunglasses, gum, my AirMiles card and a St. John’s Ambulance face shield for CPR.
Jana- More receipts than cash! I have a tendency to “over pack the bag” and have even had a sore shoulder. Could it be the rocks and feathers after the trip to the zoo?
What superhero power would you like to have?:
Time travel: We would go back for a day to relive the intense beauty of snuggling our newborns or spending a day with our toddlers.. after having a full night’s sleep!
If we gave you an elephant, where would you hide it?:
Hide it? Have you been to Saskatchewan?? The land is flat with hardly a tree in sight. Hiding an elephant would be impossible.
