You know how everyone sings in the shower or in the car? Well, make that everyone minus one.
I don’t sing. Ever.
And it’s in everyone’s best interest.
While I’m okay with the fact that I will never be musically inclined, I refuse to accept the same fate for my daughters.
They will be musical geniuses. Or at least be able to tolerate the sound of their own voice in the shower. Either or.
The secret to this foretold future of melodious moments? The Fisher-Price Discover N’ Grow Kick and Play Piano Gym. Not so coincidentally, it happens to be one of the Fisher-Price Favourites line and for good reason.
It is ah-mazing and my daughter absolutely loves it.

As a child, playtime was always a favourite of mine. My brother and I are so close in age that we were able to play together fairly well on most occasions. When I think back to that time, I can remember so many of my favourite toys being Fisher-Price. It was a brand that my parents trusted and that is something I have carried over with my own children.
My son is loving his Fisher-Price Infant-to-Toddler Rocker. He is at the stage where he absolutely loves to interact with his toys. He constantly wants to touch, feel, and listen to everything he can. The soft toy bar has 3 spinning toys that he really enjoys spinning and touching. The frog has an attached hanging caterpillar that makes noise when he pulls it, so he is constantly entertaining himself by pulling on the caterpillar.

As parents, we live for milestones. Our doctor's appointments, photo albums, family updates and moments of parenting success are all based on milestones.
Hitting those milestones is drilled into us as the sacred measurement of our child's journey as a human being. I understand and respect the important medical need for milestones in detecting potential developmental delays. I am absolutely sold on their importance.
Most children take their first steps between nine and twelve months. So I wanted to know why my daughter Wish wasn’t walking. It was worrying me.
As luck would have it, an answer arrived in my inbox at the perfect time. Wish and I were given the serendipitous opportunity of test-running the Fisher-Price Signature Style Lion Walker, which is part of Fisher-Price’s new toy line.

I grew up on Fisher-Price toys because my mom believes the brand to be synonymous with good quality entertainment and 33 years later it looks like my living room is a Fisher-Price catalogue. Not because I have my old toys, but because everyone seems to give us a lot of toys! Last year for the Little Monkey's birthday my parents and brother got her some toys (despite me saying NO MORE toys!) and what do you know...they were Fisher-Price and a year later, she still plays with them.
I recently received the Stroll-Along Walker, a Fisher-Price Favourites Toy, and this would have been ideal a year ago when the Little Monkey was learning to walk as it is the perfect way to steady baby's 1st steps. Baby Boy will be sure to get working on this toy soon no doubt! However guess who's been running around with this stroller? The Little Monkey! She wants to take it everywhere and while her favourite dolls usually sit in it, she can occasionally be seen trying to climb into it herself (meanwhile, she is not a fan of her REAL stroller!).

My 2-year-old daughter just recently began preschool and it has been commented on several times by her teachers that her speech is a little delayed. She knows what she wants to say but in many cases it comes out in a mumble jumble format that nobody understands. We were encouraged to provide her with toys that would teach her words and songs that could help increase her vocabulary. When we saw the Fisher-Price Laugh & Learn Singin' Storytime Puppy from the new Fisher-Price toy line, we knew she would love it. With playful stories and songs, big arm motion, head nods, and rocking action, the Fisher-Price Laugh & Learn Singin' Storytime Puppy is sure to delight every child’s senses.

There they were, two mops of golden ringlets bobbing up and down on the living room carpet. Sisters. My heart was awash in maternal pride to see them playing together. I was also thrilled they were so into the Fisher-Price Little People Fun Sounds Farm that had just been delivered. Hey, this Fisher-Price Favourite farm rocks out sing-along songs and animal sounds. Of course they loved it. This sponsored post was going to be a breeze to write.
My kids can’t get enough imaginative play and they loved exploring the farm with the farmer and his animals. The doors open and close to music and animal songs and sending hay up with the tip-up baler and then dropping it into the silo was lots of fun. Mary loved assembling and reassembling the fenced in area too. The cow, in particular, was a big hit.
