Flat Tire

You’ve got a nail or screw in your tire – what are your options? There are a few things you need to know when it comes to repairing a tire. First, is the tire repairable? There's No Excuse for an Unsafe Vehicle

Because you just never know what will happen today

Transport truck rollover
I'm never one to be like Chicken Little – the sky is falling, etc. I'm also not the type to fear the worst in every situation, preparing for doomsday. We are not the kind of auto repair shop to use scare tactics, or the typical “would you put your wife/kids in that car” line. Even Your Vehicle Doesn't Like Canadian Winters

How cold weather affects your ride

Winter temperature
We live in a beautiful country with all four seasons coming through the year. Lovely, isn’t it? Except that I’ve been at home for today – refusing to go out because it’s -20C outside, never mind the wind chill. How Vehicle Manufacturers are Helping to Keep You Safe

Your car is a second set of eyes on the road

Rear Cross Traffic Alert

Car accidents happen – FAST! Before you realize what’s happening, it’s over. It’s easy to look back and think of how you should’ve maneuvered differently, or been paying more attention, etc. The fact is, they happen to the best of us, and sometimes we’re just not able to react quick enough to prevent or lessen the impact but car manufacturers are constantly researching to improve vehicle’s capabilities for collisions.

Crash Test Dummies

When accidents happen, they’re over before we know it and the results can be frightening just to read, never mind experience. Vehicle safety features are improving every year and manufacturers pride themselves on their safety advances. In fact, they spend millions (dare we say.. billions!) of dollars on research! In every collision, there are 3 stages to it: before, during, and after.

Why NOT to Follow a Car Manufacturer's Maintenance Schedule

Factory maintenance intervals are the bare minimum

changing engine oil

As I write this blog post, I’m anticipating a lot of people will disagree with me… I’m going to be writing about something that a lot of you don’t want to hear. In fact, I’ve avoided writing about this for a while now because many will disagree with me. Alas, I feel convicted to say it like it is. Whether you agree with me or not – this is based on my experience in the automotive industry.
