Moms are definitely some of the hardest working people out there, and usually welcome anything that can help make life with a baby or toddler a little simpler. Luckily, there are a lot of great tools out there to discover!
Here are four gadgets we think any mommy will love:
Babyphone [1] iPhone App - $3.99 at the App Store [2]
If you’re a parent who owns an iPhone [3], this app is a must-have. When you’re at someone else’s home and you’ve put baby down for her nap, simply start up Babyphone and leave your iPhone in the room with her. If the noise level in the room (baby’s cries) exceeds a certain limit, Babyphone will have your iPhone call a pre-programmed number (another cell phone or the landline of the house you’re in works best). And if ever you receive a call while the app is in function, it will be redirected to voicemail, after which Babyphone will reactivate. What a simple, yet genius idea!
Squirt Baby Food Dispensing Spoon by Boon [4] - $11.99 at cheekymonkey.ca [5]
Whether you and baby are at home or on the go, this food dispensing spoon will make feeding a snap. It holds up to three ounces of baby food: just fill it, and squeeze to dispense. No sticky fingers and no mess!
Cushie Traveller by Mommy’s Helper - $19.99 at babyonboard.ca [6]
This padded folding seat offers the comfort and familiarity of the home potty to your toddler when away from home. It fits on most standard toilet seats, is super easy to clean with a wet wipe, and also comes with its own carrying bag.
Beaba Babycook - $179.99 at Crocodile baby [7]
Make your own healthy meals for baby with this multi-function countertop appliance that steams, blends, warms and defrosts. Use it to steam cook veggies, then blend them into purée and warm them up, or defrost the meal you created for baby yesterday. A great baby shower [8] gift and a must for any mom!

Mariève Inoue is Assistant Editor at divine.ca [20], meaning she does a whole bunch of different things such as writing articles and quizzes in English and French, looking for cool products, translating and basically making sure that the site is running smoothly.
This McGill and Keio University (in Tokyo) grad has a thing for cell phones (and can tell you which model each member of divine.ca owns), a major thing for cats, and is addicted to karaoke. She loves languages (and wishes she could speak a lot more of them), and hates not succeeding the first time she tries something—in addition to white socks, people who type “r u” instead of “are you”, and insincerity.
