Ingredients:
1 lb lean ground beef
8 oz diced spanish onion
2 green onions, chopped
1/4 cup VH® Asian 5 Spice Stir-Fry Sauce
1 tsp VH® Soya Sauce
2 oz crushed garlic
1 oz crushed ginger
1/2 bunch chopped cilantro
Juice of 1 lemon
2 oz vegetable oil
1 package pre-made samosa pastry (available at any Indian grocery store)
Salt and pepper to taste
Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan, add the Spanish onion, garlic and ginger and fry until soft.
Add the lean ground beef, brown the meat for 10 minutes, add the VH® Soya Sauce and VH® Asian 5 Spice Stir-Fry Sauce. Cook until the beef is thoroughly cooked and reached a temperature of 160F.
Remove from heat and stir in the cilantro, green onions and lemon juice. Add salt and pepper to taste. For best results chill the mixture overnight.
Stuff the samosa pastry following the directions provided on the package.
