I don't like milk - tell me what I can do!
Dear Smriti|
I'll assume that you are worried about getting enough calcium like the others who don't drink milk. If your diet is sufficiently high in other non dairy calcium sources: almonds| broccoli| other leafy greens and you have enough Vitamin D (sunshine or supplement) as well as Magnesium to use that calcium. You should be ok.
Of course there are forms of milk that you may like ... 2-3 servings of yogurt or a piece of cheese? Lots of manufacturers are fortifying their products with calcium these days such as orange juice and oatmeal. One way I like to sneak dairy calcium in to baked goods is to use dry powdered skim milk as an ingredient.
Make zucchini muffins with powdered milk and ground almonds and serve with a glass of fortified orange juice and you are well on your way!
Good luck!
