Sago! (Mohawk for hello). I am married and have 4 wonderful children who I nursed for 3 years each. I am Mohawk and French Canadian, an Aboriginal Midwife and Lactation Consultant. I'm a theatre and literature lover. I also am a photographer for SNAP Haldimand-Norfolk. I have come through postpartum depression twice. I have given presentations on Postpartum Depression, Midwifery, and Breastfeeding on Aboriginal Communities. I'm also a Certified Canadian Red Cross Instructor.
About my kids:
Boys born 1995, 1997 and 2001. Daughter born 2004 (she was the last whether she was a girl or not!)
..the best of times and the worst of times. Parenting makes you learn more about you than anything else in the world. The love for my children is unequalled.
We know you don't have a lot, but when you do, what do you like to do in your spare time?:
In my spare time, I love going to the Stratford Festival and theatre productions, read, volunteer at local events, my photography, and Kids4Bard.
When are you at your yummiest?:
When my kids reach their own goals in something. When I'm at the theatre.
When I see clients fall in love with themselves and their babies.
