HI There!
After 13 years experience as a Travel Advisor I Orchestrate Dreams one Vacation at a Time! I am a working Mom with a son who has multiple disabilities, so I am a home based agent with Vision 2000 Travel Group, the largest independently owned Travel Company in Canada; and over time, I have become a bit of an expert on travel for people who have extra support needs. Having said that, I think all parents traveling with kids have extra support needs, and I am here to help make traveling as easy as possible for you! I specialize in Cruising, Europe, Sunny Destinations and Disney, (especially Vacations by Disney.. an amazing experience for families!) I was born and brought up mainly in East Africa and spent my entire childhood travelling the world, and since becoming a Travel Advisor have had the opportunity to not only travel in person, but constantly upgrade my knowledge with seminars and Webinars, I also promote groups, and once a year I escort a group doing a Pacific Coastal Cruise plus 3 days in Disneyland. People with extra support needs are especially welcomed! On the home front, I have twin sons (one of whom is the young man with disabilities), I was a single parent for the first 10 years of thier lives and now have an amazing Husband who supports me in everything I do.
About my kids:
My Sons, Nik and Kieron are 2 extraordinary young men. Nik, My oldest (by an hour and 45 minutes!) is making his way in the world now and going back to college in the Fall, he came out when he was 19 and I fully support his lifestyle, I just would like him to find a nice boyfriend! Kieron is still at home, since he requires 24 hour care, but he has a life filled with good people and has even started his own business making and selling Doggy Biscuits!
Parenting is...:
Hard, really hard, but incredibly rewarding, seeing those little itty bitty scraps of screaming pooping Luscious Babynesses turn into responsible young men is a delight and a honor.
We know you don't have a lot, but when you do, what do you like to do in your spare time?:
In My spare time I like to Travel... really... decorate.. add to hy husband's Honey Do list, work out, swim and read.
When are you at your yummiest?:
When I am really really busy!
If someone wrote a biography about you, what would be the title?:
Out of the Frying pan into the fire!
What's currently in your purse?:
The world's best lipstick, wallet,business cards, about 5 pens, keys, cell phone and extra strength Tylenol.
What superhero power would you like to have?:
To fly... no more security checks at Airports for me!
If we gave you an elephant, where would you hide it?:
Who needs to hide it... the neighbors would smell it soon enough!
