I'm the Founder of IM@Events, based out of Kitchener-Waterloo. The IM@Events team is at the forefront of an exciting niche, producing customized media coverage for events, from smaller events to festivals with over 150 000 attendees. We’ve trained small businesses and nonprofits in social media best practice, applied knowledge in the political sphere and worked with large corporations.
The digital environment is absolutely my natural habitat. I'm obsessed with words. I always have been. As a kid I was always up reading long past bedtime trying to absorb as many words as I could. I love inspecting language and how it shapes the world around us. Now I obsess over how words are perceived in a new world where virtually everyone has the ability to BE media.
I’m also a writer, vlogger, speaker, community builder and Social Engagement Instructor at Conestoga College.
About my kids:
Eadie, 3yrs: The Comedian.
Mira, 5 years: Master of Emotions.
Noah, 17 years: The Athlete.
