In between a busy career as owner of 2 business (TorontoCooking.ca and Projects on Demand) and being a wife and mom to 2 young girls, you will find Alison in the kitchen testing and tweaking recipes.
Coming from a family of talented cooks and a passion for food her entire life, Alison developed and launched www.TorontoCooking.ca in January of 2011. Alison founded TorontoCooking.ca with the belief that some of the best cooking resources exist in the Greater Toronto Area that is home to millions of individuals and a melting pot of international cultures passionate about food. She felt that people deserve immediate access to cooking information without wasting precious time sifting through endless pages trying to find it. The goal is to help others find their inner chef by providing a one-stop resource for recipes, cooking classes, tools and tips, events, specialty ingredient stores and more to enhance their experience with food.
