We don't always have time to shower, especially with kids (and newborns in particular). To keep hair from looking greasy—without buying an aerosol spray of dry shampoo—simply put some baby powder into your hand. Run a comb through to pick up some of the powder, and simply brush through. If you've got curly hair, gently put at the roots of your hair and tousle.
