Save your tablecloth and go dye-free! Use soap and water-friendly acrylic paints available from any craft store.

Washi Tape
Decorate them with washi tape for a bright, easy way to stand out in any holiday basket.

Wrap it Up!
Some white craft glue, colour bits of wool or yarn, and you're good to go! (It's a great way to use wool yarn spools that are too short for knitting or crochet projects, too!)

Get Your Glue On!
Glue on sequins, beads and/or jewels a top a dried paint base in coordinating or contrasting colour.

Puff it Up
Decorate them with 3D/puffy paints and go retro! (Who didn't have a puffy painted t-shirt or pair of white sneakers in the 80's?)

Draw on them with coloured pencils
Hardboiled eggs - rather than hollowed, blown eggs - work best with pencil crafting as they have a bit more durability and can better stand up to little hands working away.

Sharpie for the Win!
Sharpies are ALWAYS a favourite and everyone has them - or should! They're bright and permanent and there is no limit to what you can do with a handful or bright or black Sharpie markers.

Metallic Magic
Go simple and use metallic markers OR take it up a notch and use the gold, silver, platimum, or rose gold leafing kits available at larger craft stores.
