A to Z of Taming Tantrums: X is for X-ternal

What external, compromising states might be influencing your child?

A - Z Taming Tantrums | YummyMummyClub.ca

Thank you for joining me for the A to Z of Taming Tantrums parenting series. This video is about the letter X and X is for "X-ternal."

One of the most preventable and powerful reasons for tantrums (for both children and adults!) is being in a compromising state. This is when something a person needs to have enough energy, patience, and resiliency is gone like sleep, food, or a calm environment. So when I say “x-ternal,” I mean the external factors – the compromising states – that might be making it hard for your child to keep his or her cool.

Please watch this video to learn more:

I have written more about the external factors that make it hard for children to cooperate and what parents can do to change things around.

Do you have any questions or comments? Please do post those on the video or over on my Facebook page

We're so excited to share with you the A to Z of Taming Tantrums video series!

Each week we'll share the next letter of the alphabet and Andrea will discuss how it relates to reducing tantrums - and improve our experience as parents! You can view each video here as they are added each Friday.
