I recently moved into a townhouse with my family of five. Space can be tight and it's important for me to have a designated office space because working at the kids table covered in peanut butter and play dough isn't my ideal working environment...I will actually go insane. Enter Ikea. This sleek and slim desk is PERFECT for my office/area next to the kitchen because, as a food blogger, I'm constantly working and cooking at the same time. It's neat, tidy, and takes up basically no room. I LOVE it.

Do you remember Lisa Frank? If your answer is "Doy, I had a Trapper Keeper with every single one of her designs" then get ready to freak out: she makes tights and tank tops that are literally all that and a bag of chips (and just as neon Techni-coloured as they were when we were in school). I know, you're probably all... Cut. It. Out. But this is mad perfect. Perfect for us to relive the glory days of middle school, perfect for us aging mombods to embarrass our kids, and something that actually perfectly goes with the neon Techni-coloured sneakers that seem to be "in" these days.
Yeah it's actually kind of horrifying from a modern fashion perspective and I didn't even LIKE middle school. BUT. LIKE. I'm having a cow over here.

My husband #nailedit when he gifted me the Breville Sous Chef 12 Plus food processor for Christmas last year. Before any fellow feminists cry out in horror – “he gave you a kitchen gadget!? Were an apron, feather duster, and mink heels included in this gift!?” – I want to be clear: I asked – nay, begged - for this appliance. This is the most empowering kitchen tool that I have ever used. Full stop.
This tool is saving me hours of chopping and mixing each week, and giving me edible results that I could not achieve with my own two hands. I have been stuffing handfuls of bright green, fresh and fragrant, basil and parsley into the Sous Chef like the Swedish Chef this summer, with divine dressing as the result. I am now the self-proclaimed Queen of Making Sauce of Out Random Fridge Items. I can whip up these Chickpea Chocolate Cookie Dough Drops, or any homemade protein balls, in no time.
And, given that I actually have no time, I’m so delighted to own this time-saver.
What could possibly make this gift any sweeter? My husband uses it as much as I do.

One of the problems with having fine, long, highlighted hair is that my hair tangles...a lot! And detangling always hurts and takes such a long time. For years I used a wide-tooth comb to detangle, and I'd have to painstakingly pick out the knots near the nape of my neck. Then came the famous Tangle Teezer - and I was hooked - I didn't think my life could get any easier....I didn't even want to try any new hair brushes. Then I was sent the Goody Ouchless brush to use for a YMC program - and it was life-changing. Instead of taking 3-5 minutes to detangle my hair...it takes 1 minute. I don't know what magic is used - but I just run it through my hair and it's knot-free! It doesn't pull out any hair and it doesn't hurt. It's also super-easy to keep clean because of the wide space between the bristles. And while I may have received my brush for free - I've recommended it to my friends and family members - and they've all purchased and loved theirs - especially for detangling their kids' hair!
