Every week we find the best eclectic products and services around. Each review is clearly marked, letting you know if we bought it ourselves, want it real bad, or were given it for free. With Love it, Want it, Got it!, you'll always know you're getting an honest review.
an objective review of something we own
My kids have always struggled with pants that are too big in the waist. Even the toddler pants that have the adjustable elastic waistband never seemed to pull in enough to fit them. Discovering dapper snappers made shopping for pants so much easier. I love that the belt slides in through the back loops of pants leaving nothing at the front to struggle with, which proved to be especially important when my kids were potty training. They are marketed for toddlers but my seven year-old still uses one on every pair of jeans he wears.

we're pining for this
My co-worker keeps bringing in these drool-worthy lunches with zucchini "noodles" that she makes with her spiralizer. I want to buy this (for my husband) so he can make me even more delicious meals (he's the cook in our house!)
My family is travelling to a warm country this spring. Being as fair skinned as we are we've stocked up on various sun protection paraphernalia. Now, I am NOT a summer hat person. It's not that I don't like hats, it's just that there's something about summer hats that makes me feel very unnatural. Like I, pretending to be somebody else. I never really wore baseball caps nor have I felt that I could identify with the wide rimmed straw hats, it feels too grownup. Today I stumbled upon this baseball cap at Joe Fresh. Yes, it's a baseball cap but it also has this really pretty floral print on it and it was calling my name. I think that this is what finding an item that is you feels like. Loved it, wanted it, got it! (and the added bonus: only paid $10 for it).
I spent years conditioned to the information that putting oil on my face would make it break out, so I originally scoffed at the idea of actually paying money to do it. But I deferred to my friends who knew more than I did about skin care and gave in to buy Cocoon Apothecary's Rosehip Oil Moisturizing Serum. Now I am in love with my not-pregnant-pregnancy-glow. A few tiny drops at night or under your regular moisturizer will feed your skin, especially in winter or with too much sun. Bonus: there is only one ingredient in the bottle.
