As a mother of 3 boys and 3 step-children we have to budget when it comes to our children having brand-name clothing. I have found ways to help with the cost by selling the clothes that no longer fit to a used clothing store. I also buy a lot of children's clothing off of websites like as kijiji and I save a bundle. Garage sales during the summer months are a great place to find good prices on used brand-named clothing. I buy in advance in sizes that that are one or two sizes bigger that needed and then we have clothing ready for when they grow. It's a win for everyone—it saves my budget and the kids still get the clothes they want.
