Five Reasons To Put Yourself First

Five Reasons to Put Yourself First

You’ve worked hard, got married, and had children. You fed your son and maybe ate his leftover banana for breakfast. You figure that you can always stop to grab a bagel and a coffee at the drive-thru. The problem is that sometimes, being a mother, you’ve put yourself last, and it’s beginning to catch up with you. Here are five reasons to put yourself first:

Better digestion will make you sexier

Let’s face it, this isn’t exactly a comfortable topic, but it’s one that needs to be addressed, because many people out there suffer from poor digestion. Did you know that many people consider one bowel movement every three days normal? Or that one bowel movement a day is still considered constipation? When your digestion is weak, everything else suffers. If you’re constipated, those toxins will pollute our insides, preventing us from getting a healthy glow and looking younger.

Because you deserve to be happy

The more patients I see in practice, the more I’m floored at just how many people are on anti-depressants these days. Maybe you’ve realized that you’ve put yourself last and don’t know how to turn it around. But it exhausts you, creates emotional weight, and you’re constantly tired. Diet, supplementation, identifying your values, and the illusions you’ve built are key factors to uncovering how to switch things around.

It’s time to reach your ideal weight

You’ve made resolutions and broken them. Hopped on the latest diet, but so far nothing has worked. A huge part of it is motivation. You deserve to be the sexiest mama, and motivation, delicious recipes, and an easy-to-follow plan that works with your busy life are key factors to making it work.

Because you should be able to bounce a quarter off it

Having a tight bootie shouldn’t require painful, long hours at the gym. After all, you’ve got a family to look after and time is limited, so you need quick and easy ways to get a tight bootie and possibly lose the muffin top. Exercises that can be done in your home in under half an hour can be just as effective (if done correctly) as jogging for an hour. In fact, at an average pace, a 5km jog might only burn roughly 350 calorieslots of effort for a small pay-off.

Putting yourself first helps others even more

The same holds true in a plane when you have to put on your mask firstyou cannot be the all-star mother without looking after your needs first. But let’s take this one step further: if you could transform your body and know that it was helping to transform the world, would you? Most of you would answer, “Yes!”

Well, soon I’ll be providing a body transformation program for the New Year that will help you put yourself first, AND, ultimately, help to transform the world in return.
