Exams, projects, deadlines, homework, peer pressure. School can be a stressful place for kids. It is estimated that stress among children has increased 45% over the last 30 years.
Not only can too much stress can have a negative effect on their health, it can also interfere with a child’s ability to learn, focus and think—and make it more difficult for them to get along with others.
We sat down with some teachers and moms to find out why students are stressed and how you can help them deal with it.
