Easy, Crazy, Fun! Banana Split Campfire Cake Recipe

Shake things up and make a change to the regular banana split you know and love. Turn it into cake!

Ingredients:

1 loaf cake (390g), cubed
1 cup (250mL) strawberries, sliced
1 cup (250mL) banana slices
1 can (300mL) Eagle Brand Regular or Low Fat Sweetened Condensed Milk
1/2 cup (125mL) dark chocolate, chopped
1/2 cup (125mL) salted nuts, chopped

Directions:

   Arrange first 3 ingredients in cast iron pan or pie plate.

   Drizzle with condensed milk.

   Bake at 400°F (205°C) until brown, about 20 minutes, or cover with foil and cook over open fire.

   Remove from heat, top with nuts and chocolate. Let sit until chocolate is melted. Serve.

Cooking Time: 20 minutes
Makes: 8 servings
