When Evan walked up the stairs for the first time in September, I was all giddy at the thought of all the cool lunches I would pack for him. I bought bento boxes galore and outfitted my kitchen with silicone muffin cups, cookie cutters and other cute gadgets to make his lunch as cute and kid friendly as possible. In fact, I was SURE that all these preparations were going to mean that he would come home and go on and on about how wonderful his lunches (and his mother) were.
