Morning Pina Colada

A Pina Colada for breakfast?

pina colada

I just had clients cancel their nutrition appointment because they are going to Hawaii.  I was so depressed not to be going that I made myself a pina colada for breakfast.  It was healthy and had no booze but I do feel better.

The coconut oil may freak you out but know this: it is a medium chain tri-glyceride and provided that it isn’t hydrogenated is one of the best fats you could eat! Easily digestible, great for your skin and tasty as all get out!

Pina Colada Smoothie

1 cup frozen pineapple
1 cup skim milk
2 scoops  vanilla protein powder
1 tsp coconut oil

  Blend until smooth and thick.
