Your Pregnancy Week 6

Fatigue, fatigue and more fatigue. This is when the fatigue of pregnancy settles in, puts its proverbial feet up, and sticks around for at least the first trimester. Many women get their strength back in the fourth or fifth month, but for now you're tired. You're also hungry all the time and have to pee constantly. Oh and you're likely not sleeping well, your breasts may hurt, you could have some headaches and possibly minor to severe nausea. At this point the baby daddy is likely looking at you as though you are an alien and you are feeling kind of like one too.

A NOTE FOR DADS, BABY DADDIES, SIGNIFICANT OTHERS, ETCETERA: It Isn't easy watching this alien creature/mother-to-be feeling rotten. Ask her what you can do to help. At this point hopefully she doesn't need much more than cool compresses for her wrists to help stave off nausea or a snack before she gets out of bed. Sometimes she may want to be left alone or brought flowers…Your job over the next 9 months is to keep her happy. Now go, stop reading and do something nice for her.

No matter where you’re at in your pregnancy our guide will keep you up-to-date. Find out more about what’s happening to your body here.
