Baking is a fantastic way to spend quality time with your kids and create lasting memories. But it can also be totally messy and chaotic. That's why we asked moms for their best advice on making baking with their children a success. So, before you don your apron, check out these useful tips that will ensure you have fun while keeping chaos to a minimum.

And, as one mummy said, if you start your kids baking young then, before you know it, they'll be baking delicious treats for you…while you relax with a cup of coffee.

I divide up the ingredients among the kids and have each mix their own bowl. Then we combine it all for mummy’s special touch (making sure everything is properly mixed!). That way we can all take credit for the baking!

I like to put a piece of a non-skid drawer liner under the mixing bowl so the bowl doesn’t move or spin when the kids are mixing.
