Pink all around me and life isn't really all that bad.
Four years ago if you told that I would be outnumbered in my house 3-1, I would have told you I would be miserable. But now having two beautiful daughters and an amazing and gorgeous wife I am the luckiest man in the world.
Seeing both my daughters for the first time, I don't think you could have wiped the smile off my face for days. One thing about having girls all around me, I know every Disney Princess story, I've seen more episodes then I can count of Dora and Strawberry Shortcake, and I have danced a thousand dances. I am getting pretty good at ponytails and can actually match clothes from head to toe.
I did think that with having two daughters, I would never be able to share any of my hobbies or interests with them. But my 3-year-old is taking a liking to Star Wars and I just love sitting down watch the movies with her and listening to say that she likes Princess Leia, Darth Vader and Luke Skywalker. Anything to melt my heart.
But there is one downside to having three women in the same house - especially having the same stubborn personality all at the same time.......I just keep repeating "oh joy, my life is going to be fun come the teen years".
But even with a few downfalls, every day to me is like Father's Day. I could never imagine having my life without two little girls in it.
