Every week we find the best eclectic products and services around. Each review is clearly marked, letting you know if we bought it ourselves, want it real bad, or were given it for free. With Love it, Want it, Got it!, you'll always know you're getting an honest review.
When I saw this floor sweeper at my friend Sharon's house, I knew I had to buy one of my own.
This little powerhouse is quiet, cordless and lightweight which means I can move freely around my house - sucking up bits of food, dust and craft supplies - without throwing my back out.
With two power settings, it works as well on throw rugs as it does on hardwood floors, making even small rocks and beads disappear into it's easy-to-remove cleaning tray.
My broom and vacuum cleaner have never felt so neglected.
I simultaneously love and hate winter. I love the crisp breezes and the fall colours... but I hate to be cold. I have a fleece onesie with a convert-a-foot feature right now, and it's the best thing that ever happened in my life. I've lived in that thing all winter long for two years, because it's like wearing a blanket that covers you perfectly from toes to neck to wrists (100% best thing ever).
But, my onesie is showing its age and the fleece is getting thin in spots, as it has a tendency to get. The company that made my former onesie has gone out of business, and so I'm seeking a new love of my life. While I'm not sold on the feet, these guys are calling my name.
Winter is on its way which means you would usually find me hibernating until May but not this year because I am now the proud owner of what could be the most multitasking sweater ever.
I was given the Classic Cardimom sweater to try out and I haven’t taken it off since the first day it arrived. It’s a two-in-one sweater that starts out as a flowy poncho but with a quick flip of the front, converts to a cardigan.
Originally made for pregnant and/or new moms this sweater has a full front that accommodates your growing belly and then can be used as a cover when nursing (not that you need to cover up because nursing is A-OKAY – don’t ever let anyone tell you any different). When you’re finished nursing, it converts into a cardigan and you’re on your way.
I am neither pregnant or nursing but I can tell you that this wardrobe staple will be with me for the rest of the season and many seasons to come.
