grilled burgers and grillled peaches

If you have plans for a weekend get together where you intend to cook grilled food, then I have got the perfect two recipes that are sure to make your weekend hangout a tasty one. One is the grilled Canadian hamburger, and the other is the grilled peaches dessert served with a wallop of vanilla ice cream for a mighty tasty treat. So, go on and try out the recipes mentioned below for a lip-smacking affair.

Ingredients for the Canadian Burger:

Ground beef (about 3 lb.)
1 egg, beaten
1/3 cup soy sauce
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
2 tsp McCormick
Grill Mates, roasted
Garlic Montreal Steak, for seasoning purpose
1 tsp Lawry's seasoned pepper (or black pepper)
8 slices Canadian bacon
8 slices cheese
8 hamburger buns

How to make the Canadian Burger:

In a large bowl, take the ground beef and mix in the beaten egg so that the batter is perfect without any kind of knots. Once completely mixed, shape into patties.

Put the burgers on the grill. Drizzle the Worcestershire sauce, along with the soy sauce, on both the sides of the burger. You also need to sprinkle the seasoning while drizzling the different sauces.

When the burgers are almost ready, put the Canadian bacon slices on the grill. (If you have a charcoal grill then the outcome will be better, but you can use a normal grill, as well.) Grill bacon on both sides for a few minutes.

Now put the cheese slices and wait for them to melt.

Once you have followed all these steps, your burger is almost done. Just assemble and enjoy!

Now that the Canadian burger is done, let us start with the peaches dessert.

Ingredients for the Peaches Dessert:

4 ripe peaches
6.5 oz. white wine
6 oz. maple syrup
freshly ground black pepper, to taste

How to make the Grilled Peaches Dessert:

This dessert is the perfect item to cook on the grill once the burgers are done. You might be taken aback when you see that black pepper has been used to make this dessert, but trust me, it does wonders to the taste of this food. It adds a different flavour to the finished item.

Take a shallow baking dish and mix the wine and maple syrup in it.

Cut the peaches into two equal halves and don’t forget to remove the pits. Now put the peaches into the syrup to soak for a minimum of 30 minutes.

Place the unsoaked half of the peach on the grill, and sprinkle on some freshly ground black pepper. Let the peach grill for some time, until there are black grill marks on the skin. Now flip over and follow the same technique until the pepper marks become apparent.

  Serve and enjoy!
