George & Amal Clooney Welcome Twins, Clinch "Perfect Life" Award Undefeated

Your Mom is Amazing! I Think Your Dad Did Something, Too!

George and Amal Clooney babies

It's go time for Amal and George Clooney as the couple welcome their first babies this week! (And let's face it - newborns at age 56 means they will likely be the last children, too). Twins Alexander and Ella (perfect names, natch) were born Tuesday, June 5th, reportedly in London,  and we can imagine they will have full passports by the time they are out of size 0 diapers (and also possibly fighting injustice, sippy cup in hand.)

Pictures of the arrivals were not released but one can imagine they look like something approaching perfection, although to be fair, most newborns do, at least to the people who saw them pushed or wiggled out of our bathing suit parts. Parents Clooney and Amal Alamuddin became engaged and also married in 2016, and Amal's pregnancy was announced in February 2017. The fact they had twins is not unnoticed because of course they do since a couple so intelligent, beautiful, popular, and talented could not get their cumulative gene pool into one mere human person. So twins it is, and we are happy for the lot.

Welcome to the world, Alexander and Ella! You were born to a mother who works hard at making this world a better place for all humans, so you are off to a great start. (And we've heard your dad once starred on "The Facts of Life," so there's that, too.)
