We've been glued to our screens, watching the news of Gord Downie giving his last performances, promoting The Secret Path, and fighting his battle with cancer. This Canadian mom is giving a little back.
And that little is acing it in the cutest way possible.
Bentley Davidson, age 2 and a half, has a Man Machine tour costume based on what Gord wore in Toronto - complete with Jaws shirt, hat, microphone, and sparkly pants - made by his mother, Shannon White.
Shannon White pulled out all the stops to make this happen, special ordering fabric and altering the shirt. The best part is, the hankerchief in Bentley's back pocket belonged to Gord himself. In 2008, Gord Downie threw his hankerchief into the audience during a show in Belleville, and Bentley's mom ended up with the souvenier, making it a part of her son's costume. All of Canada is taking notice.

We rate it two thumbs up for accuracy and attention to detail! Bentley's adorable, and Shannon White may have just "won" Halloween.
