A few posts ago, I wrote about a great recipe contest we were running, sponsored by ConAgra Foods Canada Inc.—the makers of those extra yummy VH Sauces.
YMC members re-invented their favourite comfort food recipes, using at least one VH Sauce. They were asked to submit their updated recipes, accompanied by a photograph of the prepared dish, for their chance to win an All-Clad Stainless Steel 10-piece Cookware Set, valued at $1,450!
You can imagine just how difficult it was for our panel of judges to choose the top three recipes, since they all sounded so yummy! Our judges included Karen Humphrey, our Food Editor, and representatives from VH. By using their expertise in food, our panel was able to make their decisions based on taste, originality, appeal, and creative use of a VH Sauce.

Dawna Ferguson, from Nanaimo, BC, won for her Spicy Thai Chili Lime Dressing Recipe.
Vikki Knapp, from Calgary, AB, won for her Asian 5 Spice Pork and Brandied Pear Recipe.
