Nice Cans

Crafty Project for Food Cans

Here is a super easy crafty project to give your old cans new life. I am talking food cans. Obviously. You are reading the wrong blog altogether if you are looking for ways to improve your other cans.

All you need is pretty paper, clean food cans, scissors {or a paper cutter} and double sided tape to take your cans from this:

to this:

How to:

Measure the can

Cut the paper to the exact height and two inches longer than the width; a paper cutter makes this so easy.

Tape the paper to the can, wrap it and tape the end in place. So easy!

Tip: when covering larger cans buy large individual pieces of high quality wrapping paper, 12x12 scrapbook paper is not long enough.

These are great for storing pencils, paint supplies or any other little odds and sods. I love making storage pretty, don’t you?

Honestly, they are so easy to make. You could use them in your child’s bedroom, your office or your craft space. What do you think?
