This past week was my one year anniversary writing for the Yummy Mummy Club. I have tried this post several times, but I am having a difficult time expressing in words just how amazing this opportunity has been for me.
I found out about YMC on twitter thanks to Lisa, who writes the super entertaining Party Mummy blog. I eventually found the courage to approach Sharon, YMC’s editor and more, with a proposal to write a design blog. After submitting a couple of articles, Erica and Sharon took a chance on me {cue the Abba music} and I started writing Wall Candy.
I seriously can’t thank them enough. And every time I try to, I get emotional. I am not a writer. I am not a designer. But they saw that I had a passion. And they supported that passion.
That is what Yummy Mummy Club is all about: supporting women in every possible way. By making us think, question, laugh and cry. I love writing for this site.
And I can’t tell you how much I truly love your every comment, every like, every tweet and RT. Thank you so much for reading and for sharing in my passion. xoxo
