Easy Berry Sherbet

Fresh, Fun, and Fabulous!

Two of the most pleasurable things of summer combined: berries and ice!

A family favourite in 3 easy steps: just use the best seasonal berries you can find, wash them, freeze them and blend them!

2 cups of fresh strawberries, raspberries and/or blueberries, washed, hulled, and frozen
½ cup of maple syrup
A few drops of lemon juice
1 egg white (optional)

Put all the ingredients in a food processor and pulse until you get a smooth and creamy texture.

Egg allergy: this recipe works very well and is as delicious without the egg white, it will just not be as fluffy.

Note: this sherbet has to be eaten right away, you can’t put it back in the freezer, it twill just get really hard and loose its great texture.

I like to make this sherbet on many festive occasions, like for Thanksgiving, with cranberries and for the Holidays with citrus fruits or even mangos.. Mmmmmm!
