Hey Muggles: Check Out The Harry Potter-Themed Hotel

Conjuring the currency right out of your wallet

Listen up, diehard Potterheads. Two themed suites in London's Georgian House hotel promise to give you the authentic Hogwarts experience. Complete with four-poster beds, cauldrons, spell books, and school trunks, the Harry Potter-themed suites aren't only appealing to families but younger fan who grew up on the series by J K Rowling.

London seems to be taking a leaf out of Disney's book by offering extremely popular studio tours and “The Making of Harry Potter.” Sounds pretty perfect for Halloween. And since the hotel is 163 years old—and said to be haunted—you may even get a ghost thrown in for good measure.

But all that nostalgia will cost you. The wizard chamber goes for £249 (CD$450) a night—£363 (CD$655) with the studio tour. You may need to consult your book of spells to conjure up that kind of currency.

And here's where I confess that, through strange magic of my own, I've somehow steered clear of both the numerous Harry Potter books and movie adaptations.

You tell me: What's the most expensive or ludicrous thing you've done in the name of fandom?
