RECALL: Tommee Tippee Monitor With Movement Sensor Pad

Strangulation Risk

Health Canada has recalled the following models of Tommee Tippee Monitor with Movement Sensor Pads: 1082S and 1094S.

If pulled into a crib, the sensor pad cord may become wrapped around an infant's neck, posing a strangulation risk.

While no incidents or injuries have been reported, customers are advised to remove the monitor cord from a child's reach, and contact Mayborn USA, Inc. to obtain a cord cover kit and revised instructions for use.

Mayborn can be reached toll-free at 1-866-214-1537 between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. EST, Monday through Friday, or via Tommee Tippee's website

From November 2011 to present, 3,628 monitors were sold in Canada, and approximately 25,000 in the U.S.
