Who's The Superhero In Your Life?

Induct him into the superman hall of heroes

nominate your hero

Got a superhero in your life? Warner Bros. Consumer and DC Entertainment have launched the Superman Hall of Heroes to honour everyday heroes. No, they don't prance around in leotards or wear a red cape, but true heroes help and give in ways that are life changing.

Now you can nominate and induct your own personal hero—be it a celebrity, athlete, fire fighter, or even a friend or family member.

Not only is the site a fun way to pay it forward to someone who has touched lives in ways they may not know, a portion of the proceeds goes to the original Superman's charityThe Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation, an international nonprofit for spinal cord injury and central nervous system disorders.

And throughout the year, the so-called Red Cape Crew will "perform random acts of kindness or contribute to local community efforts."

If you're still stumped this Father's Day, you could do worse than paying tribute to your hero and giving to a worthy cause. Win-win. How cool will your inductee feel wearing a superhero T-shirt? (And yes, they come in pink, too.)

Visit the Hall of Heroes to view the inductees or to nominate your own Man of Steel or Wonder Woman. Enter promo code MYHERO for a free Level One induction.

The cast of Downton Abbey came up with a clever way to give back.
