One of my favourite things about buying a house was decorating it. Visits to IKEA and other furniture stores was the best part of my weekend, and selecting the perfect colour of paint for the walls of all our rooms was stressful, but fun. It's been many years since we go the keys to our home, and although it's gone from looking like the pages of a Pottery Barn catalogue to more of a Toys R' Us flyer, I still love updating my walls with new artwork, or buying new frames for pictures we display around our house, and I'm always looking for creative ways to do so.
