One item I always shop for at the drug store? Mascara. That's right, the best mascaras in the world not only work amazingly well, but they're ridiculously affordable, too.
Lancome Hypnose Star Mascara: Lately I've noticed my eyelashes are not as thick and long as they used to be, and when I told my mom, she suggested I try her Lancome mascara. Since I'm not one to say no to a new beauty product, I tried it, and was instantly amazed. This mascara is gives your lashes incredible volume. The formula's "black-diamond effect" contains a dual-action brush that has a flat side to so the mascara gets distributed evenly and a rounded side that separates, defines, and lengthens lashes. It really works, and it's an instant eye-opener. It retails for around $28.00.
Lancome Definicils High Definition Mascara: This mascara by Lancome is also amazing and does a great job as lengthening the lashes while increasing volume. It sells for about $27.00.
Volum' Express Falsies Flared Waterproof Mascara: I discovered this Maybelline mascara in the summer of 2011 when I was in San Diego attending BlogHer and it has since become my number one favourite mascara. It is seriously the next best thing to "fake" eyelashes, and the best part, it's effortless. It truly is "false-lash glam with a flare!" Bonus: the Pro-Keratin formula instantly builds volume without clumping. You can pick this up at Shoppers for under $10.00.
Volum' Express The Rocket Washable Mascara: This Maybelline mascara promises "Explosive Volume" and they're not kidding! This new supersonic brush contains micro bristles that helps mascara glide on smoothly, resulting in instantly sleek lashes—with massive volume! This amazing mascara is also under $10.00, so you'll be able to stock up, and maybe buy one for your best friend, too.
Great Lash BIG Washable Mascara: Maybelline's Great Lash mascara has always been considered everyone's favourite mascara, including top make-up professionals. It's always made the top ten list in beauty magazines, and there is good reason it's so loved by everyone--you're getting amazing results for an incredible price. Great Lash now comes with a bigger brush for even bigger lashes that gives great volume without clumping. This drug store favourite is also under $10.00!
Cover Girl LashBlast 24HR Mascara: I've been using this mascara lately, because I love the handle and I love the volume it provides. It also has amazing lasting power—up to 24 hours. Of course, I always wash my face before going to bed, but I'm sure if I kept my mascara on it truly would last for 24 hours! This mascara is just over $10.00 and worth it!
