Baby mama, Rock n Rolla. Growing up in Toronto with a mum who was obsessed with three things: TV, The Beatles and Aretha Franklin, we danced and laughed a lot. I love kitchen dance parties and cooking (always simultaneously), and am a distance runner for fun. Things I hope to pass on to my children: love of both the heaviest of metals and the popiest of pop music; outlandish behavior; obsessive coordination; athleticism; TV watching; sci-fi & fantasy; red lipstick appreciation; love of fashion; love of animals (we currently have a menagerie of two cats and Mr. Peter the French bulldog); hot baths; cheeseburgers; fries; gin & reading.

I’m married to the best dude, Matthew, who works so hard for our family I can hardly believe my eyes. We have a wild, strong, smart, and sweet toddler named Henry who blows my mind every day, and a sweet, gentle baby called Lauchie (Lock-hee, short for Lachlan). I often ask myself, “is this real life?” cause sometimes, it’s just too damned good to be true.
