The Golden Globes air this Sunday live from Hollywood, and they the perfect kickoff to the awards season. This year's hosts Tina Fey and Amy Poehler are sure to liven the place up (although, I for one, found Ricky Gervais to be a great host). I'm not sure I recall there being two women hosting anything like this before, so that, in and of itself is banner, but the fact that it's Poehler and Fey? Icing on an already awesome cake.
The Globes differ from most other awards shows due to the fact that a meal (and plenty of booze) is served. This year's meal consists of than appetizer of grilled artichoke with a lemon-tomato mousse on a goat cheese and pear salad, a main of steak with grilled sweet pickle and a cappuccino mousse with orange and chocolate salted caramel (sounds....interesting?). There has also been an order of 700 magnums of Champagne for the awards ceremony. No wonder the celebs get wasted!
