Last week, the Mississauga Independent Film Festival (MIFF) held it's opening party gala at the Art Gallery of Mississauga (AGM). Of course, since our blog-friend and name-twin Kat Inokai had the inside scoop on the invite, I jumped at the chance to go with!
And since Kat and I are hatching our master plan, this was a perfect chance for us to walk the red carpet and photo-op....
Here's miss K getting pampered before we walked the carpet (not shown, crutches).
Kat, festival coordinator Matt Campagna and I (shown, crutch/clutch).
Stunningly beautiful writer/director/actress Danelle Eliav who's short The Girl and the Spanish Boy blew me away (more with her another time!).
MIFF was great fun, and Kat and I even created our own hashtag at the event #MILFSATMIFF. By all accounts, all the films were fan-freaking tastic, and I can't wait to see where they'll go post-festival.
