This Halloween treat is ghoulishly delightful. Your kids will take exceptional delight gobbling down these tasy fingers. While they are horrifying to look at, they are a pretty healthy choice compared to some of the candy and chocolate that will be vying for your kids' attention this Halloween! Try these fingers out on your crew. They're easy to make and frighteningly delicious!
What you'll need:
1 package of ladyfinger biscuits
1 tube white decorative frosting
1/2 cup strawberry or raspberry jam
12 almonds, halved
Preparation:
Divide your lady fingers into groups of five. Break the ends off of one side making each fifth one a bit shorter (for the thumbs). Your kids will happily eat up the broken ends so there is no waste!
Put the jam in a bowl and dip the broken end of each lady fingers in the jam. Put a dab of white frosting on the end of the lady finger you just dipped to look like a protruding bone.
Using a dot of white frosting as glue, add an almond finger nail to each lady finger. Plate and serve!
