Believe it or not, I'm an introvert and parties are not my favorite thing. But Blissdom 2013 was the party I didn't want to leave. The only reason? YOU!
It started on Thursday night when I headed to the opening party. I never even made it INTO the actually event space because so many awesome women grabbed me to chat along the way. I loved getting to know so many bloggers who I've only connected with on Twitter and hearing feedback first-hand about what is resonating on YMC and hearing what we need to work on was also helpful as we continue to evolve.
Friday, we officially launched the #YMCCommunity—and the response from so many at the conference was great. What is the #YMCCommunity? It's a two-fold program to work with and promote bloggers from all across the country. By signing up for the #YMCCommunity, we'll post a description of your blog for everyone to see in our #YMCCommunity section.
You will have access to participating in a variety of cool opportunities we're creating for moms and dads coast to coast: product reviews, attend events, write sponsored posts for us, be a social media ambassador, make some extra money, and even be the first to hear about YMC job opportunities.
The #YMCCommunity booth at Blissdom was manned by our new Community Manager, Candace Dericks, who handed out YMC mugs to everyone who shared their business card with us.
I loved connecting with so many new women while at the booth giving away mugs on Saturday and have been so thrilled to see so many of you posting on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram proudly sipping from your mugs with the #YMCCommunity hashtag!
