My Top Five Romantic Books

There is nothing like spending a few hours absorbed in a good book. Especially if that book has a solid plot line, believable characters, and a pull-at-your-heartstrings romance.

Here are my top five romantic books to indulge your romantic side.

Beneath a Marble Sky by John Shors
This fictional story surrounds the building of the Taj Mahal. It sweeps readers away to a Hindustan that is brimming with action and intrigue in time when the brutalities of war and oppression are juxtaposed against the architecture and the art of love and passion.

Memoirs of a Geisha by Arthur Golden
Set in Japan, this story is about Sayuri who is sold into slavery at a geisha house in 1929. She must survive even though she is on her own at the start of World War II.

The Time Traveler's Wife by Audrey Niffenegger
This tale is both intelligent and touching and works on three levels: as an intriguing science fiction, realistic characters and a touching love story. Henry De Tamble is a Chicago librarian with "Chrono Displacement" disorder; at random times, he suddenly disappears without warning and finds himself in the past or future.

Water for Elephants by Sara Gruen.
When Jacob Jankowski's parents are killed in a car crash, it leaves him in the middle of the Great Depression with no home, no family, and no career. By accident Jacob joins the circus where he falls in love with the beautiful performer Marlena, who is married to the circus' psychotic animal trainer.

Outlander Series by Diana Gabaldon.
A sweeping historic tale set in the Scottish Highlands; and a growing-old-together love story between Claire Randall and Scots warrior James Fraser. Claire is lured into love and passion like she's never known before.

As I'm always looking for a good book to cuddle up with, so let me know some of your favorite romance books.

Blindfold Your Lover

Here's A Sexy Way To Rediscover Each Other's Bodies.

Blindfold Your Lover

Sex can so easily get into a rut for the average long-term couple. Here's a fun and easy way to add a bit of sexy spice.

Get to know each other's bodies blindfolded.

Turn out all of the lights, pull the curtains shut to make the room as dark as possible, then meet each other in bed, and put on blindfolds. If you don't have a blindfold, you can always use a tie or a scarf (a silver tie if you want to go Fifty Shades of Greyhot!)

Losing your sense of sight will only enhance your other senses of touch, smell, and taste.

Place your lover's hands on your body and show them what gets you excited. Let them show you what they want.

Buy New Lingerie Together

Take each other shopping for sexy lingerie to set a sexy spark.

Buy New Lingerie Together

When was the last time you bought a sexy pair of underwear? Take each other shopping for sexy lingerie to set a spark.

Whether actually going to a store or doing it online make your sexy lingerie shopping trip that much more fun by having your partner tag along and help you pick something out.

Indulge in a lace teddy or silk boxer shorts. If you’re the adventurous type, try edible candy underwear.

When you get home, model your new lingerie; or have a fashion show of sexy wear that you already own.

Want to raise the stakes? For a sexy, clingy look, spray yourself with water before going 'on stage.'

Or undress your partner and then dress him/her in the lingerie outfit of your choice.
